GASLIGHT at Cold Wars 2003

G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. had a massive presence at Cold Wars, this year. Chris Palmer ran a session of ACW by G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. using the original rules, and two games in 15mm using the new "Battles by G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T." rules which were launched at the show. Rob Beattie ran two games of "How Few Remain by GASLIGHT" also using "Battles by G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T.", while Todd Harland-White ran "Black and Decker amidst the Dunes of Doom" featuring the near legendary Anubis packaging statues.

The CSA Airship Odin prepares to make a pass over the Union trenches.	Captain Rogers heroically jump-packs on onboard the Odin and engages the crew.	Union armor converges on a Rebel timberclad and the unconscious driver of a wrecked steam-cycle.	Lt. Col. Surdu rides into the middle of the action.

Lt. Col. Surdu makes a dangerous leap from his horse to the top of the Rebel timberclad; subsequently firing into the gun port at the crew, killing the vehicle's commander.

Battle for the Resurfaced Atlantis (Battles by G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T.)


British Balloon Scouts advance on the flank of the leviathan HML (Her Majesty's Landship) Avalon.	German zeppelins and heavy walker advance on the weakly defended British left flank.	German Zeppelins pass over British cavalry and balloon scouts on the British left flank.	German downed zeppelin, with guns still functioning, is surrounded by British cavalry, infantry, and a landship, as a German Heavy Walker advances.

The German command team studies the action.	The British commanders further their advance.	The leviathan HML Avalon and a British artillery battery hold their ground as two German Drilling Machines lie destroyed in the distance.

JEB Stuart Jr. sends the Walker named for his father against the town to support the cavalry's assault	Confederate Walkers and Flyers attack the town, while the Federals send the Ornithopter "Dragonfly" to delay	GASBAG (GASlight Big A-Gamemaster) Rob Beattie makes a point about artillery and combat in the town. (Trust me, he was smiling during most of the game!!!!)
